In case of stress, all too often we feel helpless and alone. We know we should do something about the problem, but we do not have an idea what exactly needs to be done. In such situation, the only solution is to talk about your stress and the situation that has caused it. Be mindful, though: you must not talk to just anyone. You can't just pick people at random, talk to them and hope it will help. In some situations this may cause more problems than it solves. In case of work-related problems for example, you should rather discuss them with your boss rather than with your fellow employees. They will then spread information about your problems in a form of a gossip and this is simply begging for trouble. There's also one good way of getting rid of troubles at work: take a short break in order to relax and get some distance between you and the problem. When the stress level is too high, you often need a few days off to rebuild your forces before you get back to fight. If that doesn't help, consider a career change. However, do not try to "take a few days off" in case of relationship or family problems. Then, the only possible solution that will let you cope with stress caused by relationship problems is meeting the problem head-on. Contact everyone involved and discuss the problem. This is the best way to fix the situation and get rid of the stress grown from family or relationship problems. Problems in your love life can also be an important source of stress. If you feel that your relationship is going in a way that makes you more and more stressed, make sure to discuss it with your loved one and openly tell what makes you down. Together you will surely be able to find a solution that will be acceptable for both sides. If it is the other side however, who causes all the problems, and he or she refuses to discuss about it, you may consider increase the distance between each other in order to get rid of the stress inducing situations. Openly admitting your emotions is a powerful tool that can be used to get rid of the stress that has built up in your mind and body. Talking about your state of mind is the best way to lower your stress level and in many situations it is the only way to solve the underlying problems that cause the stress in the first place.
