15 Strategy For Niche Keywords

1. Brainstorm by describe your business and imagine what keywords your perfect client might be type into the search engines.

2. Ask your friends, family and using discussion board or forum to find what terms they would use to search for your products or services.

3. Be specific and general. For example, if you were selling pet food, thousand of different pet food in the market. So you should specific to use the following keywords like dogs food, dogs cookies, dog tin food. You might also use a brand, type of food and packaging dog food as your keywords.

4. Use misspelled words. Many site owners neglect to use a misspelled words that show their sites un professional. But this is a trick where you can drive great traffic and your competitor might otherwise miss! Research common misspellings of your top keywords and include them in your list.

5. Targeted region or state. Many customer want a products or services near by them. If you own a flower store use keyword like "California flourish package"

6. Targeted your keyword with seasoning like "Christmas watches gifts", "valentine romance movie tickets".

7. Make it an offer. Use a keyword like discount, half price, free, free gifts and so on.

NOTE: You can combine any of the 3,4,5,6, 7 terms together to show the more coverage of keyword you use. Example : You want it to be specific on a packaging, you want to show them your location and you are giving an offer in the coming season. "Brand dog cookies discount", "dog cookies Christmas gifts", "California Christmas parties" and so on.

8. Remember that some search engines are case sensitive when it comes to keywords and phrases, so "Dog" and "dog" would be considered two separate keywords.

9. Use as many variations of your keywords as you can think of. For example, the keyword "diet" could be "diet", "diets", "dieting"

10.Think of other meaning of "diet", "keep fit", "fasting", "slimming"

11. Be sure to include your company name. But do not use trademark names other than your own! If you get caught using trademark names like Wal-Mart, Yahoo, Amazon, etc.to draw traffic to your site, you could not only find yourself banned from the search engines, you could also find yourself slapped with a lawsuit!

12. Check what keywords your competitors have features on their websites, in there titles, and in their META tags. You can easily do this by going to your competitors website, clicking on the "View" menu of your browser, and choosing "Source".

13. Use a keyword suggestion tools to find the keywords.

14. Use keyword density to check your competitor website, see what keyword does his use in the content for the top ranking.

15. Every targeted set of keyword use it in one single website. Tracking the traffic for each of your site. You will know which keyword will bring you better traffics. Filter the one that don't drive you the traffic or less traffic.

Try another new keyword again from 1 to 14 ways.

Warning : There are two things I want to mention here. First, I am not suggesting that you blindly copy your competitors keywords or code! Rather, use the information you gather to expand your own keyword list and improve your website design.

Second, keep in mind that web sites with top ranking positions in highly competitive industries may be using more complex tactics to hide their source code from their competitors. In fact, you should know that some sites even put up "decoy" source code to try and throw you off track.
