401kDIRECT Network (401kDIRECT, 401kTechTeam, & Pension Retirement Online) has introduced a “TOTAL Solutions Package” that will be available to qualified plans via the Plan’s 401k Professional, whether it is a Broker, RIA, TPA, CPA, Benefit Consultant, etc. The package includes PlanTool’s Risk Management System, the Retirement Analyst Participant Advice and Fiduciary Reporting Program, ICC Super Statements plus ETFs that are sub-advised by portfolio strategist Barclays Global Investor (BGI), State Street Global, & other ETF Managers. The PlanTool’s Risk Management System provides a plan-specific investment policy statement, mutual fund and investment selection, monitoring and replacement process. The Retirement Analyst Participant Advice and Fiduciary Reporting outlines and documents the investment process for participants and creates special Plan-Level and Participant-Level reports to assist Plan Sponsors with their fiduciary duties. Pooling ETF assets using Collective Investment Funds (CIFs) allows asset allocation solutions to be offered to multiple plans at a lower cost. The actively managed allocation models are customized according to a specific investment objective. CIF Strategy Models utilizing ETFs gives the 401k Professionals, plan sponsors and participants the benefits of asset allocation, diversification, and low costs of ETFs to match a participant’s risk profile. In addition, ETF CIFs trade like mutual funds within the plans’ recordkeeping system. This allows both ETF CIFs and Mutual Funds to be used within the same 401k Plan. This new “TOTAL Solutions Package” will be launched at the Center for Due Diligence (CFDD) Conference beginning October 3, 2006 in Chicago, Illinois.
