A 4th of July Party in Your Community

The 4th of July is an American holiday because it commemorates the day the Declaration of Independence was adopted. The Declaration of Independence was the instrument that established the thirteen colonies that rebelled against the rule of Great Britain as independent. The document is famous for its dual pronouncement of separation and unity. The 4th of July should be a celebration in American history since it is the basis of the United States of America.

Having a 4th of July celebration is not unique, but you can plan a party to make it unique for you. People typically have the 4th of July off from work and are able to spend time with their family and friends. Most cities provide a parade. If you live in a close-knit community, you may want to consider planning a 4th of July parade and party for your community. A parade is loved by both the young and old. You basically need to have music, probably provided by the local high school band, entertainment, and points of 4th of July interest. A reading of significant points in the Declaration of Independence is a good idea to make sure everyone understands the reason for the celebration.

After the parade, everyone can join in the activities. Since this event is designed for a community celebration. Having team activities is a good idea. The 4th of July occurs at a time when the weather is usually warm and sunny. An outdoor picnic or gathering in a hall is perfect for the celebration after the parade. To keep with the theme, the party should include lots of American dishes, such as apple pie, hot dogs, and barbeque. Regardless of the venue, be sure to decorate the area with colors associated with the 4th of July: red, white, and blue.
