However, if you have a website selling a product, you could make money by selling a related product as an affiliate. For example, if you have a website offering your video golf tuition course that is guaranteed to cure your slice (some hope!), you could also include some adverts for golf training aids that do not conflict with your own product. It is reasonable that golfers who want to cure their slice will also be interested in training aids. You make a few sales, and for every sale you make you are earning money just by providing your visitor with a link to a site that can take care of another of their problems.

There are plenty of sites offering affiliate programs on the internet and a Google search will find them for you. One of the most popular sources of affiliate programs is Clickbank that markets ebooks for their customers. It is both an excellent source of information and of products to sell on your website. If an information product is suitable for your website, Clickbank can provide such products for most niches.

However, you will find that the internet is full of affiliate programs that could complement your website, and all you have to do is give them a try. It generally costs nothing to join an affiliate program so why not choose one that suits your website and give it a go. That’s how to start to create affiliate revenue as part of your affiliate marketing business.
