Affiliate Marketing-Learning Your Way Around ClickBank

If you are looking for what kind of internet marketing products are sold on the internet a good place to start is ClickBank. ClickBank is a large affiliate network. At ClickBank you can purchase products, list your own products for sale, or sign up to earn money by promoting other people's products.

It does not cost anything to sign up with ClickBank and it is easy to access the site. Simply enter ClickBank into a search engine. When you enter you will see next to their name the navigation information. Above that you will see several other selections. One is labeled marketplace. Marketplace is where you will find all of the affiliates ClickBank represents.

When you click on marketplace you will be taken to a categories page. Here you can find any product. You will see information that gives you the product name, a sales page and a "create hoplink." The latter is a link you will use if you decide to promote affiliates. This link is what identifies you as the payee.

On the same page labeled in green are four other pieces of helpful information.

• Affiliate Commission: The actual amount of commission you receive.

• Referred: Percentage of each product that's referred by affiliates.
  
  
• Gravity: A numerical rating. The higher the number the more popular the product. Some marketers believe if the gravity is too high or low the product is either saturated or not well enough known to make it profitable.
