As the operator and coordinator for the Online Think Tank it is amazing the topics and subjects that come up. In fact we make it a point to never eliminate any topic for conversation. Everything is on the table and open to discussion. Well that was until the other day when Think Tanker newcomer, Bob, apparently had too many refried beans from El Polo Loco next door to the Starbucks where one of the local chapters was having their 2-3 hour weekly meeting. It was fun to see the Arizona group in action and the topics were wide and vast ranging from Education Technologies to GM foods. And then Bob, bless his heart, made a rather large sound as a result of his meal from the El Polo Loco, must have been the beans someone said. Indeed, Bob confirmed that the methane gas and sound was most likely from those refried beans. The next topic just happened to be Alternative Energy, mainly solar power, Arizona gets their share of sun, although Tucson got snow a few days prior, as I do recall. Well what does methane and alternative energy have in common? Lots, actually. You see there are many initiatives and innovative entrepreneurs making energy from bio mass. Of course we do not think that was Bob’s intention, he looked rather embarrassed. One member who loves his politics, let me tell you made one thing clear, as he stated; “Why not use that alternative energy to power up the US Congress, as they are full of it anyway?”I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.
