Anesthesia, come kill the pain
This torture I refuse and disdain
Whatever it takes, I can't stay the same
Come quickly God and break the chains
Holy Spirit flow mightily in Jesus Name!
I can't conform. Please come transform
My miserable life and inner strife
Help me get along with my wife
Notice, numb, and dumb me
Whatever it takes to be happy
Alleviate my torment speedily
Operate on me, do your surgery
Knock me out cold and hard rapidly
Let me enjoy this anesthesia lengthily
Please don't awake me prematurely
Let me enjoy the release thoroughly
Change me from the inside out fully
Gently adjust me inwardly adequately
Fix my dysfunction. Give me some fun
Impart to me peace so I won't run
From my personal responsibilities
Though I'm overwhelmed without tranquility
Dull, in a lull, exhausted, with lethargy
I know none of you have ever felt this way
Forgive me for being bold to say and pray
About my inner needs and pressing reality
I await the touch of the Holy Spirit's glory
To drive away depression and give joy
To uplift with dynamic resurrection power
Bind the devil who does seek to devour
Fill me to overflowing with divine Presence
Immeasurable joy, peace, and happiness
Spirit life produces brilliance and bliss
Eternal hope whereby you can cope
Move beyond your pain and not mope
Stop acting like a dirty worm or dope
Be done with the past. Embrace the future
Simply let the anesthesia of heaven cure
Comfort, embrace, affirm, and nurture
Spiritual anesthesia births a new culture
A kingdom culture of dominion is blessed
As it surges through your veins take rest
Inhale, ingest, take stock in, and invest
This divine drug removes a painful past
Giving you life, love, and liberty that lasts
You can never get this anesthesia too fast.
