If you are, you are not alone. But what about having a third party insuring any purchases made online, had an insurance policy covering the guarantee? There are too many ‘shonks’ operating in cyberspace whose sole purpose is to make a sale at any cost. They are only too willing to rob us of our hard-earned money. These people offer some outrageous guarantees that are so ‘over-the-top’ that we should immediately be wary. The more they promise, the faster we should run from them. But there could be a way of stopping these unscrupulous operators who are spoiling it for the majority of people who are trying to operate an honest and honourable business online.Let’s look at some facts. If someone is not making much money online and they still need to pay rent, and have grocery money, how can they give us our money back when they have already used it to live on?“You can’t get money out of a stone” as my Grandmother used to say to me.I’m quite sure that when these people write their sales letters, their intentions (in the majority of cases anyway) are reasonably honest. They write with hope in their heart and very little in their pockets. Therein lays the problem. Sales are down and as the sales don’t eventuate, so do their good intentions evaporate. So when you return the product for a refund for whatever reason, there’s nothing left to refund you with. These operators are the ones I call ‘the dishonest’ operators but they still have stolen our money. The one’s I really have a beef with are the big, well-known operators who offer us the world, guarantee a full 100% refund if not entirely satisfied – and are believable because when you do a ‘due diligence’ check find they have been operating for years on the Internet so should be believable and reliable. And are often promoted by other well-known operators. But when you ask for a refund because you honestly find their product totally unsuitable for your needs, they then renege on the guarantee. In some cases they return a partial refund citing ‘fulfilment’ costs. These are the ones I really want removed out of my online world. What are your thoughts on these operators?Just because a business is well-known and has been online for years, does not make them honest. My idea is to have a guarantee-insurance policy number listed in any guarantee given on any product sold on the Internet. The Insurance Company providing this guarantee insurance policy has a three-strike policy to allow for those idiots who purchase something with the intent of returning it. Honest operators have to be protected too from the scam artists.I have worked out a way this could be done so if any Insurance Company wants more information, and is prepared to sign a non-disclosure agreement, then please contact me at the address contained in the resource box.If you are a potential purchaser, and would like to be able to purchase with more confidence off the Internet, then please click the link below to add your voice to the growing list of people who would like to see these changes in the Ecommerce world. If you have friends, family or know of someone who has already been ‘taken to the Cleaners’ please forward this article to them to let them know help is on the way!
