Article marketing is a great way to increase search engine rankings, and there is a classic way to go about this. The first step is to determine the topic of your article. Many people write an article, give it a title than wonder why nobody wants to read it. You must write on a topic that is of interest to more than just a handful of people.A niche topic is fine, but it must be on an aspect of that niche that is giving information to those interested in it. So choose your topic wisely. Put yourself in their place and think on what aspect of the subject you would most want to read about.The next thing that you must do, and this is essential, is to choose a good main keyword. Most article directories allow you to use a number of keywords to define your article, but you need just one major keyword that you use in your title, in the first hundred characters of your article, and in your final paragraph. Choose a keyword that accurately describes the theme of the article and that has a good demand on the internet.It is allowable to use two keywords, but you must use them both in the title. Here, for example, the keywords ‘article marketing’ and increase search engine rankings’ have been used. They have been used as described, and both have a good demand: according to Digital Point keyword tool, article marketing has over 100 searches a day and rankings over 40. So your article has a good chance of turning up when people make a search.
