Article marketing for profit is one of my favorite ways of generating traffic, driving traffic to my squeeze page, and beginning the long sales process that eventually produces high levels of profit for me. What is article marketing? Article marketing is the process of writing articles and including links to your website and submitting those articles to the various online article directories for the purpose, for the primary purpose of giving people online information that will whet their appetite for future information from you, which they can receive by clicking through to your website.So what are the most important things that you can do in article marketing, over and above simply article writing an article submitting, that will allow you to turn a profit in your article marketing?1. First, you must identify a niche market in which you wish to create a profit. One tip here, the most important thing that you can do is identify a tight niche market. The broader the market the less money can make per subscriber; the tighter the market, the more money you can make per subscriber. What this means is that if you have a broad market, break it up into many smaller tighter niche markets, and build individual lists.2. Second, you must write articles that will specifically appeal to the desires of people who are interested in purchasing things in your niche market. I like to write info articles, articles that provide information at no cost to my readers. At the end of the article I like to give people an exciting reason to click through to my website, namely a free gift of some sort.3. Third, if you are writing to gain search engine optimization advantages, write multiple articles and submit them to multiple online article directories. If you are writing to gain direct traffic in game high search engine rankings to the articles themselves, write multiple articles and submit them to the top three article directories online, based on search traffic, and page rank.4. Fourth, you must write prolifically, If article marketing were easy more people would be making a full-time income online with it. My estimation is there are only about a hundred people online who make a full-time income through the process of article marketing. Now, don't get me wrong, I think that there are plenty of people online making money selling the concept of article marketing, but I only believe there about 100 people online who are actually writing articles and making a full-time income and profit on those articles.
