Article Marketing is Not Writing Articles About How Much You Love Your Puppy Dog

Article Marketing is many different things to many different people, but there are some things that it is not. One thing it is not is writing about your love of your puppy and how they look at you with those loving eyes.

Now do not get me wrong, that might be a very nice article to read and actually very nice of you to write for your puppy. But it certainly is not article marketing. Yet some online article marketers actually write such articles and then put their by-line at the bottom of the article to attract Internet Traffic.

Well, that is really nice and all that, but as a case study this does little good, because the traffic you get is not targeted traffic so it really makes no sense at all. If you are selling dog collars or dog toys maybe such an article is worthy, but not if you are selling Vacation Holidays or Diet Supplements. You see; Article Marketing is Not writing articles about how much you love your Puppy Dog. Yet so many folks write these type of articles hoping to attract Internet hits to their website.

Now then I do not mean to hurt anyone’s feelings here and I am certainly glad if you love your cat or puppy or whatever, but certainly you must understand that such creative writing is not article marketing, but rather recreation and therefore those doing such writing should not expect to get much pull from these articles that they write for fun or as a hobby. Please consider all this in 2006.
