Support for brands such as products or services make the brand even stronger. A brand cannot stand by itself it must have not only quality and performance to support the name, it must also have service. By service we mean that if something goes wrong, the company will make sure repairs happen in a timely fashion or replacements are done immediately. I really dislike it when I buy a product that I will need to cook a BBQ dinner and then the rotisserie does not stand up to the job and I have to run around trying to get a replacement of have it fixed. This is especially annoying when it is a weekend. I found that most stores that sell products will often give you a replacement on the spot and then have the manufacturer accept the returned item. To me, this is standing behind your brand. I have also dealt with other companies where I bought something, it broke on first use and they refuse to replace it or they want to take six to eight weeks to fix it. This is not standing behind your product and giving good customer service. Time is very important to all your customers, so when something goes wrong, making it right is all they care about. If you can make it right as soon as humanly possible, then you have supported your brand. Standing behind your brand means that you take ownership for the problems and solve them. If you do not, then it is not likely you will gain a good business relationship with the customer. Here are some tips for supporting and standing behind your brand. These three things will make the difference between a successful brand identity and one that is meaningless.
