Somewhere between where you are and where you thought you’d be, there’s a GAP. Some people are far ahead of where they tthought they’d be, so their GAP is on the plus side. But, for the other 99% of the population somewhere in our lives there are unfulfilled dreams. These are the GAPS we need to fill. How? The myriad of alternatives in answering this question are bloody confusing. A terrorist thinks they can fill the GAP between what they’ve got and what they want, by blowing up anyone who disagrees with them. In other words change the world to suit their wishes. Some people fill one GAP and create another. Like the business entrepreneur who wants bigger business (GAP) and closes it using hard work and finds him or herself, without a marriage. Filled one GAP – Created another.Another solution to the GAP is to narrow the distance. Some people would advocate that wanting anything is going to disturb your peace of mind. So, their solution to the GAP is to reduce their wishes to “being in the moment” – but really, is that anyway to live? Without ambition or desire to contribute to the world? Many people simply complain about the GAP. Oh, woe is me, I wish I had ….. but no one really listens anymore, so it’s become rather boring.Another group of well meaning people read books about attraction. They think it’s a secret but really, the only secret is that they’re either lonely, single or going broke sitting on their hands waiting for “the universe” to provide. The solution lies in your hands. Filling the GAP, is really the first and deepest essence of relationship. The relationship with ourselves, others, in business and the world.o There are those who hope they can fill their GAPS – but these people are very vulnerable. Hope is wishful thinking and carries with it significant uncertainty.o There are those who know they can fill their GAPS – but these people lack intimacy because they have set their sights within easy reach.o There are those who have lost hope that they can bridge the GAP – these people gravitate to tricks like Vibrations and affirmations.o There are those who don’t care if they fill the GAP – these people start helping others.o There are those who fill their GAP and then don’t know what to do with their lives.o There are those who can’t stop creating the GAP, because they just don’t know how to slow down.o There are those who are so disciplined in order to fill their GAP that they live tired, exhausted lives.o There are angry people, hurt people, emotional people, aggressive people, frightened people. All are at the effect of unfilled GAPS. Unfulfilled in some area of life and wishing not to be.The Laws of NatureThe GAP is caused by natures plan. We can never stop growing. When you are green you are growing, when you are ripe you rot. This means that nature creates the GAP. Everything has a destination, a future, a destiny, a greater than now. Nothing is static. So, we are faced with a dilemma. There is always going to be a GAP and yet, happiness comes where there isn’t one. What to do?
