An excerpt from our business kit "The Keys To Success" appears below:THE $25,000 SECRET There is a story about a president of a large corporation who was very concerned about the performance of the business as its sales were dropping, production was down and the company was losing profits. The president had tried everything he knew how to do and no matter what he tried, the business kept losing money. Out of desperation, the businessman hired a well-respected business consultant to see if there was anything that could be done to save his failing company. The business consultant was called in and the president told him about his troubles. After about an hour discussion, while still sitting in the president's office, the business consultant scratched a few notes on a piece of paper, put it in an envelope and sealed it. He then handed the envelope to the president of the company and said "read the note after I leave the office and, if it works for you and your company, pay me what you think it is worth". The business consultant promptly left and the president opened the letter and it said:“Have everybody in your organization, starting with yourself and your officers and then your employees, write down the SIX MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO EACH DAY and DO THEM IN THE ORDER OF THEIR IMPORTANCE” The president briefly pondered the note and immediately called a company meeting and passed the instructions on to everybody within the business, from sales to production personnel. About a month later, the business consultant received an envelope from the president of the company he had consulted and when he opened it, there was a check for $25,000.00 and a letter that said:“Thanks to your simple advice our company is back on the road to profit! Every area of our corporation has improved its efficiency, production and sales are going off the graph and morale is improving. If the check isn't enough, please let me know. Thank you for your insight!” The consultant received a check for $25,000.00 for about one hour worth of time and hardly any work! Why? Because his suggestion to the president made the company well over a million dollars within 6 months!The key lesson here is this- No matter what you are involved in, no matter the size and scope of the project, identify the six (6) most important things to do each day. Rank them in the order of their importance and do them. This will prove to be the most effective and efficient method of achieving ANY GOAL. There is no more effective way to approach a difficult task or project, whether it is simple or complicated! This secret is so easy that ANYBODY can do it! You can do anything IF you WANT to. What will you do with the $25,000.00 secret?Your life is a major project and it all starts with SELF-IMPROVEMENT. You are the foundation of your success! Analyze your situation: what are the six most important things you need to do today? This week? This month? This year? Getting goals accomplished requires organizationyou must THINK! SET GOALS!
