First, people that have a problem with the industry don't understand what it really is and what it really stands for. There have been a lot of scams that have come down the pike but only the good MLM companies are still around. One might sometimes wonder that those who have such negative opinions about MLM may be descendants of those who didn't think the invention of electricity and cars were good ideas, either. Nothing against them, its just that some choose to not be open to new ideas.

Second, the MLM industry has seen nothing but huge growth over the past 5 decades. Can someone please name another industry that has had the type of growth MLM has? Network Marketing can be great for a lot of people but its not for everyone. Nothing is for everyone or else everyone would either have it or be doing it.

Lastly, would you like to know that main difference between a traditional company versus a Network Marketing company? Who gets paid. Traditional companies pay celebrities to advertise. Network Marketing companies pay their associates to advertise. However, there is an irony that is associated with the industry. We all know someone that were fired up and ready to go but never mentioned anything. The irony is that we all will tell someone how great a movie is (which they may go see afterwards) and neither the theater or the movie industry will send you a "Thank You" check. But they have the opportunity to make a nice income and won't say anything. Either way, they are still not earning a penny.

The Network Marketing industry, especially the Health and Wellness field, is fixing to see some massive growth! Everyone wants to be healthier, look younger, and live longer. Those are the most common reasons to purchase products but money always is the factor to joining a Network Marketing company.

A huge myth lies here, as well. Its been said that starting an MLM business means you are only thinking about money. Here is a question to ponder. If associates in MLM companies can earn 2-10 times the amount of money than those with a traditional job can, who in the long run is really the one thinking about money? Yes, associates may posses material things but it can be rest assured that their families are also well-taken care if.

Starting your own business in the MLM industry can be a great experience and a very lucrative decision. However, the only person that can make a correct assessment on the industry are those who are willing to take the time and experience it.
