Toronto is a hot spot for festivals and events. There is something for everyone here, especially during the summer months, including the Toronto International Powwow held at the Sky Dome. This city is also a home to the Canadian National Exhibition which is the world largest and the oldest of its kind. It includes a midway of rides; agricultural, technical and multicultural displays and events, concerts, crafts, an air show and just about everything in between including fireworks.

The Shaw Festival which is held from April to October each year in Niagara on the lake, Ontario is the only festival in the world dedicated to the plays of George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. In Stratford many respected actors have graced the stages of the Stratford Shakespearean Festival. Beginning in a tent in earlier days, today it is an internationally recognized event featuring the best of everything.

There are countless festivals and events of numerous types happening across the country. It is a nation that enjoys a party and has much to celebrate.
