Saporito, Ed.D., to the position of President, an office formerly held by RHR Chairman and CEO Allen L. Parchem. In his new role Dr. Saporito, who held the title of Senior Vice President for twelve years, will be responsible for the global operations of the company. “This move signals a division of labor at the executive level of RHR and represents a natural step in the evolution of the management of the company,” said Parchem. “Dr. Saporito’s knowledge of the firm, combined with his command of the behavioral sciences, his business acumen, and his international experience will prove to be of great benefit to RHR as we move forward.” Dr. Saporito joined RHR International in 1979. He specializes in consulting with CEOs, Boards of Directors and senior management on succession planning and top management leadership. He has worked throughout the United States, Europe and Asia in several industries including consumer products, utilities, retail, and managed services. Dr. Saporito currently heads up RHR’s international operations. Prior to that, he directed the firm’s worldwide strategic initiatives for three years. He supervised several North American offices for seven years, and before that managed the Philadelphia office. He is a Board member, a company officer, and a member of the firm’s Executive Council. “This is a very dynamic time for RHR International,” said Dr. Saporito. “I’m very excited about the management team we have in place and the caliber and enthusiasm of our consultants. I look forward to working with them even more closely in the future.” Dr. Saporito received his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University at Albany in 1976. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Bayada Nurses, Talint Ltd., International House, and Northwestern Human Services. He is also a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors’ (NACD) Blue Ribbon Commission on CEO Succession.
