E-books – Why You are Losing Money if You are Not Selling Electronic Products

I started my Internet marketing career by creating a few web sites and monetizing them with affiliates and google adsense. It took a while but it did pay off a little. Although I was making some extra money online I wanted more. I kept reading in forums about all the money there was in e-books so I gave it a shot.

I thought of a simple idea. It was just a simple guide that anyone could have made but I took action. I created the e-book in a Word document first then transferred it to a pdf file with a cheap converter I purchased. I then found a cheap e-book cover creator and made a neat looking cover to go with it.

Once the e-book was finished, I announced it to the Internet marketing world through a popular forum. I made my money back within an hour and ended making a very nice profit.

The purpose of this article is not to brag about my accomplishments but to tell those who may be intimidated by creating e-books that they can do it. Now that I know how to do it I spend more time thinking of the subject than I do actually creating the product. If you know enough about something to make a web site around it then you know enough to make a ‘how to’ guide or something similar.

If you don’t think e-books are your thing but you want to make some money by creating electronic products then reports may be your path. You can write a simple report on whatever you choose and sell it multiple times.

Once you achieve a good reputation amongst those in your field, they will buy from you every time you create something new. When it comes down to it, if you are not selling electronic products in the form of e-books or reports, you are losing money. One e-book can literally make you thousands of dollars over time. Remember, you can make the initial profit from sales, include resale rights and continue to make commissions from affiliate links that you place in the product.

Whether you decide to create e-books, reports or articles; you need to come up with ideas and take action! Failure to take action is the number one reason why most Internet marketers fail.
