EGIL Expects Imminent Delivery of First Batch of PocketSurfer Units Followed by Quick Placement

By: Internet and Business News

Edgetech International, Inc. (OTC: EGIL) has confirmed the imminent arrival of the first batch of next-generation PocketSurfer units, a revolutionary, sleek, handheld wireless Web access device that has refined ultra-mobile wireless Internet. This initial shipment is expected in September and is part of a series of ongoing orders as identified in our July 12 press release as the Company races towards its goal of 50,000 PocketSurfer units ordered by year-end.

All placed and pending PocketSurfer orders are being processed on a rush basis to meet demand and to satisfy our backlog of registered subscribers. These subscribers are designated as our charter customers and represent the foundation of our growth. In this capacity, they will be the very first to sign up for unlimited monthly Web access and premium services at DSL speed using the "must-have" portable Internet device for 2006 and beyond. Based on a patented breakthrough technology, the PocketSurfer offers a full web experience in seconds, faster than any other PDA or wireless device on an existing communications network. As the first complete, yet truly mobile view of the Web, the PocketSurfer's larger screen delivers an experience similar to that of a desktop - though a full VGA-width, 640-pixel color screen, compared to 320-pixels on most PDA's and 120-pixels on most wireless phones. Unlike anything on the market today the PocketSurfer succeeds in delivering full, unaltered Web access without 'scrunching' content through Web clipping, transcoding or reformatting. PocketSurfer users fly through the Web in its original HTML content, with the original layout and full graphics in seconds.

"The arrival of the PocketSurfer means that we can continue to build our operation around the nucleus of a product that we feel is going to have a very powerful impact in an evolving, growing industry," stated Edgetech CEO Lev Parnas. "We are very pleased to welcome our inaugural group of subscribers as they are the catalyst for EGIL's revenue stream as well as validation that the time has come for the PocketSurfer to take its place as the product that changed wireless Internet."
