If you’ve never attempted to write a book, or haven’t done much writing at all, creating an Ebook might appear difficult. Add to that an informational product you will have to be knowledgeable about and the task will seem insurmountable. No attempt will be made to make it appear easy. On the other hand those who have never written anything of consequence before have been known to perform this achievement.Just what is an informational product? It is one the author has knowledge of and is willing and anxious to share with others. These products can take the form of an eBook, an audio CD or video series. There is a lot less work involved in creating an eBook than an audio cd or video.Following are steps to be considered.1.What are your strong points? Do you have knowledge or skills about a given subject? Do you have a financial background, a medical background? Do you know a lot about animals or gardening?2. Whatever you can think of that would be of help to others, write down a list. Search your brain and make an outline.3. Organize all the topics you wrote down in (2 and list them in categories. For example if you have a financial background write down specific sub categories. Things such as bonds, CD’s, securities, stock options etc. List as many of these as you can think of.4. Write everything you know about each sub category.5. Begin writing. Any writing course will advise you to just let your thoughts start to flow. Don’t be concerned with grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. At this point, Just get your ideas down. You can make corrections later.6. If you find you are having difficulty composing your book just write paragraphs and if you run dry on a thought go to the next thought. Probably earlier thoughts will re-emerge. After you’ve completed a session, go over your work and combine similar thoughts. This will keep you writing constantly.7. Follow the same procedures for audio or video, but still make an outline of the topics you will talk about.8. Make sure you proofread all your work and ask a friend to do the same. Writing a book that is full of mistakes can be an embarrassment, not to mention the impression you will leave with your reader.When you’re finished you will have to create a PDF file, or make a recording if it’s a CD or Video. Hopefully. by this time you will have had some marketing experience or know someone who has. This can be more difficult than writing the book. But if all goes well and you get it right, sit back and watch your bank account grow.
