Four Good Things That Have Happened To Me Since Divorce

I am closer to Jesus

When my wife left me I was crushed and embraced church in a new way. I was bleeding and hurt and the pain inside took a number of years to abate and I grew in my relationship with Jesus.

To a person who is not a Christian, it may seem odd that I can say I have grown closer to Jesus. Yet I promise you that Jesus Christ is a real entity and you can have a relationship with Him.

I was left with no one to love even though I loved my wife with all my heart my love wasn’t returned and within a year in the minimum time she had divorced me.

I learned to speak in tongues

One time I was having a hard time praying for my wife a few weeks after she left me and had another boyfriend. I wanted her to break up with him and come back to me and so my prayer was stunted and I really wanted to bless her with my prayer.

All of a sudden a prayer started coming out of my mouth in English. It was a wonderful prayer and it covered everything I wish that I could have thought of. It was very comprehensive and went for about five minutes. After it was finished I asked Jesus what it was and He said that it was tongues and in the future I could just pray in tongues.

I am happy for this gift and it was first activated praying out of love for my former wife.

I have visions these days

For three hours today my friend and I spent time with Jesus and Michael the arch angel as they sat with us in an all you can eat buffet. Jesus and Michael both had a sword with precious stones on them and they had a big conversation with us and filled the restaurant with angels. This was the first time that my friend has seen Jesus and Michael in visions and it was memorable for him and the answers to the questions that he asked were important for him to hear.

I doubt as a married man that I could have become so devoted to Jesus that I would often get to see Him in visions and have Him visit me so often. I would not have my wife back if I was going to have to go back to my old faith.

Let me tell you that Jesus is real and will visit you on earth if you live for Him. Many people see Him. I learned to forgive

My wife taught me to forgive. She gave me so much pain and caused custody to be such a hassle that I had to learn to forgive easily. This ability to forgive easily has become important for me to have an effective Christian especially when I walk in the prophetic and people come against me often.

Let me pray for you.

Father I pray that this person who is suffering at the moment may reach a place where they can look back and realize that their divorce brought growth in their life and they are in a better place in some ways through the experience. I pray that you lead them to good counselors, good friends and good people to help them through this time and I pray that they too might come to know your Son and see Him like I do.

In Jesus name I ask
