Is the Global Warming debate completely over heated? Is this just more runaway doom and gloom fear? It seems every decade or so there is something else to be afraid of and yet now these fears are being brought to us faster and faster; Global Warming, Y2K, Killer Asteroids, International Terrorists with Nuclear Weapons, Bird Flu; Will it Ever Stop?Where are these things? I have been waiting even tuned into the Art Bell Show even they cannot come up with anything scary any more. They said Aliens were coming to Earth too? GOOD! Maybe we can get some Intelligent Life down here!Someone needs to wake up humanity; they are running around in a daze full of fear and beer? People are more likely to be killed from over eating in this country or road rage than like that Missile Lady in Virginia throwing her McDonalds cup of ice at a fellow motorist; if she would have done that in Los Angeles? Hello! She'd have got her car full of holes by some drive by some gang banger?I think all this non-sense just gives people something to talk about. It is obvious that there are some billionaires out there that want to get a piece of the Energy Sector. We have got the Canadian multi-millionaire Global Warming fellow having fun with politics, George Soros trying to out Bush, We have the Chinese who want the oil, who wish to fund Clinton.We have Al Gore flying around promoting his movie, even up for an Oscar! We have scientists who are chastised in their own domain, losing their job for speaking and we have the NYTs reporters making stuff up and you know what, I do not see a single person calling for the planting of more trees. 6-8 Billion trees and the CO2 is good as turned into oxygen, would that change climate change or ambient temps? NO!So why tear down our energy infrastructure and turn it over to theory?Lets bring on the clean coal, upgrade the system, stop polluting so much and get on China for their 280 miles worth of dead zones off their coastline and the thick black air looks like Mexico City, you can cut it with a knife? Let's live in the real world, clean up the pollution and do the best we can, but this idea of scaring the World into chaos is simply not an intelligent thing to do.I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought.
