Help me fix my computer! I have been there also. Not knowing enough about computers to even begin to try and figure out what went wrong, or what is going wrong. And if there is an error or problem, chances are I have already done it, and gotten through it. So, let’s see if we can help you fix your computer.First we need to diagnose what happened. Did you just install anything, and have your computer crash. If so, this is the likely cause of the problem. Reboot the computer in safe mode. To get to this screen, you normally need to press something like F5 when the computer is starting up. Find the Safe Mode, and boot from there. This will allow the computer to start up with the basic setup. Once started, find the program you just installed and uninstall it. Then reboot from normal mode. That should take care of it.If you did not install anything, and were just surfing or working on your computer, then the likely cause is a corrupt registry file. I would highly recommend you personally not tough the registry files. These are the computer’s instructions and guidelines on how everything is supposed to operate. When these get hosed up, your system is hosed up. But the fix for this is simple.Look for good registry cleaner software. Some places even let you scan your computer for free. This is a good idea, as it will show you what errors you have on the system. Then it is just a matter of telling the software to fix the errors, and poof, errors are gone, and no more crashes. Those are the first 2 things to diagnose. If there are other problems, then bring it in to a professional instead of trying to fix it yourself. You can really mess up some stuff. Then you will really be telling someone: Hey, help me fix my computer.
