We need to help the Gulf Coast Hurricane Katrina and Rita victims rebuild and build in some self-reliance programs. Rather than listening to or appeasing complaints or excuses, we need to help them help themselves, without giving out billions of dollars worth of Free Fish. How can we do this? Well, lets start by teaching them to build small business and teach them marketing says one very smart gentleman?In fact this online marketer and successful small business person formerly from the Corporate World and a Fortune 500 Company said he wishes he could; Go set up a tent and recruit people to come to lessons on how to start their own businesses.Wow, finally someone with a solution that could actually work. That is an Oh My God, Brilliant idea and concept. I like it, good stuff, could not agree more actually. Indeed I myself was a little miffed at the "Chocolate People" comment of Ray Negan and the incessant bitching and moaning of the peanut gallery. It is now a time to bury the political rhetoric and hatchet and not allow the race card issue to enter the picture or allow that as an excuse. We need self-reliance and we need not divide over an invisible barrier.Is it possible to help those who truly wish to become self-reliant how to succeed in small business for themselves? It would certainly help the Gulf Coast region right? Some say, but you know you can lead a horse to water.Indeed, but it also seems that duplication, mentorship or coaching is a powerful tool to help in such a worthy endeavor and yes the comment about being able to only help those who will help them selves is worthy, as such help is very much predicated on the willingness of the participant.Some folks will not put in the effort and well, you know it may not be worthy of your time to beat your head against the wall when they are not listen. But those people who will perform and try well; Lets do it, because they need our help and we are all in this together.
