Private Nurses take care of people in their homes. Private nurses offer quality and affordable nursing services for those people who are not able to care for themselves. Often family members do what they can but find they become overwhelmed. Generally the home nurse is only needed for two to three days a week. With the rise in availability of jobs for private nurses so too comes a rise in the number of employment agencies who offer these services. Private nursing care agencies sometimes offer jobs to nurses to care for entire families. Most of these private home nursing care agencies are certified by and paid for through Medicare.While the requirements for a job in private nursing will differ, most agencies require that the nurse has received some specialized training related to home care. Today, employment agencies will also offer huge bonuses to nurses who agree to work with them.
