How to Use a Sales Page For Old Page Redirects

A sales page can be used in the place of a page redirect. When the reader clicks on a link, and the link has been moved or updated, use a sales page to redirect them.

This provides a great advertising outlet for you as well as provides the reader something to read while the page is being redirected. These 5-10 second slots can be bought by you I order to promote your site, your business, your products and in turn create you a profit. This gets the word out on your site as well as generates more traffic later. Face it!

The internet is a large place and there is so many forms of advertising you need to use any method you can to promote your site. As a reader I hate the redirected pages that simply say “you will be redirected in 5-10 seconds” having something to read in those few seconds (which seem like minutes) can be beneficially to me. I never know what I need and as an impulse shopper, this is a great way to grab me and get me to locate you.

Readers and shoppers aren’t always aware of where to find what they are looking for and you never know who needs what you have. Using a sales page to advertising in the plane of the redirect page will benefit you and the person you are advertising for while they are being redirected. Go ahead, give it a try. I guarantee you will like this form of advertising and it is a great social networking tool to build your list.
