If We Build A 700-mile Wall; Who Will Build It?

The United States of America is going to build a 700-mile wall along the US-Mexican Border and yet, as if the Christian Nation, the bible does say not to divide Gods land. If the United States is going to put up the Great Wall of Mexico on our US-Mexican Border now, then one has to wonder what Jesus would say about it and surely he might have some comments for humans about dividing God's land on Earth? Nevertheless, we have a real problem with illegal aliens coming over from Mexico these days and we cannot stop the flow, now estimated at 24-million illegal immigrants.

Most of the construction in the United States is being built by companies who hire illegal aliens and although it is illegal to do so, that really is the reality and we need to recognize that. Now then, who can build this fence along our borders? It would be hypocritical to contract with a construction company that hired illegal aliens to build a fence to keep out illegal aliens right? So, we cannot do that and any other construction company we hired could not do it because they could not get the labor needed to work out there in the middle of the desert like that you see.

One answer that was brought up as a joke in our Think Tank was; Why not hire the Chinese and we can contract with a Chinese company and they will put hundreds of thousands of workers out there and they do not have a problem working in the hot sun, as they have those flat little cooley hats and are use to hard work. So, we could contract with a Chinese Construction company, which could supply the labor?

Indeed, perhaps the Chinese Construction Company could get it done in a month or so. After all it will be nothing compared to the Great Wall of China. Apparently many in the US are finding that the businesses trying exploit Mexican labor was a poor choice and has too many economic repercussions. Now, we are telling the Mexican labor not to come to America and we are putting up a wall?

Although it started out as humor in our think tank to hire a Chinese Construction Company to build the 700-mile on the border, it does make a lot of sense. Indeed, history shows us that the Chinese are use to such labor. And they can build anything; a dam, a railroad, a pair of tennis shoes, ships or even a Great Wall of China too!

The Chinese Construction Company would bring hard working labor with hats to not get sunburned out there in the desert and the wall will prevent illegal aliens from crossing in the hot desert and dying; averaging now 550 desert crossing deaths per year. The Chinese Companies know that their labor will work for low rates per day and since they will be working on the border and not necessarily in either country, they do not have to be paid minimum wage by US Standards as they can be paid in Chinese Yen and then go back to their homeland. Consider all this in 2006.
