It’s been a long time since you were confined to your bed and you are now fed up of being sick. Well, that is a good thing that you are fed up because it is the first step for doing something to make you feel better in the days when you are ill.

If the doctor has advised you to take a complete bed rest, there are numerous ways you can feel better.

First of all the room you are in, should be hygienic. To make the environment more relaxing and pleasant, you can put an mp3 player in your room and enjoy your favorite music CD.

If possible, try to go out in your garden and you can enjoy the fresh air. This is a proven fact that those who live nearer to the nature will feel much more refreshing than those who live in small and cozy rooms. So whenever possible, try to enjoy the natural beauty.

Do not restrict yourself to the activities that you can do on your bed only because the doctor has advised you to take complete bed rest.

Try to be somewhat active when you feel you are not very much sick. Engage in yourself in activities that are active. The better option can be playing with your child , rather than reading a Dan Brown’s novel to pass your time.

Try to be happy and see other too will also try to make you happy. Making your life better is up to you. Recovering from a disease is time taking process but doctors believe that this rate can be much more faster if you try to be happy and feel good.
