To the internet marketing newbie, that’s what this is all about.

I want to set the stage here. You are new and know nothing – ok, maybe not exactly, but you don’t know much.

You have heard that the internet is like the wild, wild west, and you can get rich quick online. NOT! The internet is not one big giant get-rich-quick scheme, and steer clear of anyone who would tell you that.

There isn’t really any such thing as a get rich quick scheme that actually works. But newbies fall for schemes everyday – make sure you are not one of them.

You cannot make money online by doing nothing. Sure, some people have built huge online money making empires, and they hire people to do the work, and they make money – lots of it – and they no longer work hard. But they did not get rich quick, and they are still working – and they hire people to do their idiot work for them.

But you are a newbie. You do not know what you are doing, you cannot even think about outsourcing work you know nothing about – you would not know if the work was being done right. So just getting started, you have to do the work yourself, and learn how it is done. And yes, that means long nights, hard work, and less television.

Internet riches will not just fall into your lap – you have to go out and create them.

You will have to work hard if you are going to become successful online.
