Internet Marketing Secrets - Write Articles for Search Engine Popularity and Traffic

Internet marketing is a strange animal. You see, there are many people online doing ‘internet marketing’ but only a few are truly successful. There are a few more one-hit wonders, but only a few can consistently create products month after month and year after year and continue to create a nice income.

A truly helpful skill in creating long term income is that of writing. If you can write, you can create ebooks and other informational products, you can write email letters and sales letters, and you can write promotional pieces and advertising.

One of the best places to start writing that gives you a great opportunity to practice and create content at the same time is article writing. Simply write articles and immediately make good use out of them by having them published.

Once the articles are published, two things will occur: You will gain exposure in the search engines via the backlink from the article, and you will gain traffic when people read your article and click through to your link.

What should you include in your article? Your article should be between 200 and 700 words, and briefly introduce a topic, then give 3-5 points or how-tos regarding your topic. Then end the article with a conclusion and a short biography of yourself. For promotional purposes, include your URL in the biography.

That is about it to start. Your first article will not be a masterpiece--but each one will get better. If you are truly at a loss of how to structure your article, spend some time in the article directory that published this article, and read a few articles.

And then just start writing. You will only become better as you are writing.
