We all know of the horrific situation that we are having in Africa and yet sometimes we get so caught up in the sound and fury of our evening news on TV and the silly little inconveniences that we forget how good we have it here in the United States. In Africa, in many parts things are so bad that many children are orphaned as their parents are dying of AIDS.Trying to stay ahead of the AIDS crisis and "Tracking the Monster" throughout Africa is ominous and it is such a deadly disease. Luckily there are some big organizations like the Gates-Buffet Foundation getting involved. But did you know there are some smaller organizations too. Groups like KENWA that are working in the trenches and on the ground floor to get things done and working with these children on a personal level.Their work is nothing short of a stellar performance and still they look ahead and plan for a brighter future and have their sights on setting a precedent there. Not only are they helping to combat AIDS but also looking into education and sustainable agriculture. Using a combination of know-how, talent, leadership and technology KENWA is making progress. What is on KENWA's wish list to complete this mission? Well, they need some engineers, some construction help, some rudimentary plumbing products and of course a little bit of money too.KENWA is not going to give up on Africa, nor should we; www.kenwa.org.How can you help KENWA in their vision to stop AIDS from spreading and help the children? I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007.
