I think this is a great question. I think that it reveals a flaw in our internet marketing efforts and that is that we often assume that our clients are in the im niches. But in reality, I think most people online are in the non-im niches.So how do you do it?Well, first of all, I think that the method is the same, although the target audience is different. So the basics steps of creating a squeeze page, putting an autoresponder opt in form on it, and driving traffic to it are the same, so I wont cover that here.I think that the biggest difference is the obvious the target niche. So when you advertise, when you run PPC ads, when you write articles and press releases, you have to do it in the niche of your choice.I think that you can get just as much good traffic writing articles that are non-im than writing articles that are im related. All of the same rules of article writing apply you have to use keyword optimization in your articles, you have to write prolifically, etc.I am just a huge fan of article marketing, and in my opinion, article marketing is fad-proof. You see, the best articles, the ones that really generate traffic, are original articles written by individuals for the purpose of becoming an article. All the software methods of generating web content that eventually gets banned by the search engines simply do not work here, so the articles have to be written one by one, by humans. This means that the potential pool of articles will probably always stay smaller than the demand for good articles, because in my opinion, most people are too lazy to write more than a few articles, and I believe it takes at least 1000 articles to create a genuine 6 figure income solely via article writing.
