When beginning your Email Campaign, keep in mind your topic, your audience, and the message you are sending. Begin with a fantastic subject heading. The subject will be the first and only contact these readers will have with you. If the subject isn’t an attention getter it won’t be opened.Once the reader does open your email, the Email needs to be as professional as possible. Keep the language simple and on the level of your audience (don’t use medical language if you are emailing to Senior citizens about the healthcare, just laymen's terms). Provide a catchy opener as to keep them intrigued. Use the name of the reader if possible. Use bold, highlighted text when possible to draw the eyes to the important sections of the Email.Use key words often throughout the Email as a way of being repetitive. The brain translates retentiveness as importance and is a form of memorization. Use short sentences throughout the writing. Provide all the information you need to persuade or inform the reader of your campaign. Ensure that you give contact information should the reader have concerns, comments, or questions. Thank them for their time and express your gratitude many times.Be personable when can and provide a warm feeling in your email. If you are selling something, don’t make it appear that way! Be informative; explain as if they HAVE to be aware of what you have to offer! Provide the best, most accurate information you can and be clear. Close by using your name and again thank them for their time.These simple points can help when finishing your Email.
