List building is one of the most exciting things I have ever done in my life, and has created for me income that is unrivaled in any part of my life. Sure, you may think that because I write about article marketing, or perhaps about list building, or about search engine optimization, or about Internet marketing success, they are my niches, but they are really not. They are my niches, but people want to learn about those particular things, and I write about them.

But the real key for me has been the building of my opt in e-mail list. Through the building of my opt in e-mail list, I have developed a list of over 4000 loyal subscribers who purchase from me. All of this to say, if when you build a list, you develop and create a relationship with multiple individuals who wish to purchase from you.

So what are the steps to list building success?

1. The first step to list building success is identifying your niche. You have to have a niche market online, and the tighter your niche market is, the more money you can make per list subscriber.

2. The second step to go to in list building success is building a website, and placing on it a squeeze page. A squeeze page is a landing page that is optimized only to, and does nothing else than, opt in subscribers to your e-mail list.

3. The third step to list building success is developing relationships with the people on your list.
