List Building Why I Put No Links on My Squeeze Pages Except for My Opt In BoxList building is such a lucrative area online, and I get questions all the time from my subscribers. They ask, should I put PPC on my squeeze page, or should I have a link to my article directory on my squeeze page, etc.Now here is the way I look at it. My squeeze pages average about 40% conversion to subscribers. My top squeeze page is at 65% conversion rate. Now, I have to tell you this: I have not tested my theory. I am making too much money to mess with my formula. I am simply in the stages of widening my net so that I make more money by bringing more leads into my system you should be doing the same, once you have learned to monetize your list, and you have quantified the monetization. Here is my reasoning. If I put PPC on my pages, then some of the people who visit my squeeze page will click on the PPC instead of the opt in box. Which is fine but I make about $3 for each person that clicks into my opt in box. Would I really get $3 per click if I had PPC on my site? (By the way, if your PPC average per click is $3, let me know!)How about a link to my articles page? Nope I would rather get the opt in, not the opt out to my articles page. Once they are on my email list, then I can send them anywhere I want including my articles page.
