List building is such a wonderful way to create long term income online. Of course you have to do it right, building lists with the right people and making sure that you send them the right information.But the topic of this article is list building and article marketing. And for me list building and article marketing go hand in hand. You see, I have built almost all of my list via article marketing. Article marketing allows me to target the very highest qualified people to put on my list. If someone reads my article online and doesn’t like me, they just click out. If they like me, they click into my site, download a free book, and often buy from me the very first day. That is what I like about writing these articles and submitting them to the article directories (one in particular) and putting links to my squeeze pages in them.The basic idea is that I write articles that are related to the topics of my web sites, and I put links to squeeze pages that are designed to ask people to opt in to receive a free item from me, and then I submit the articles to the online article directories.The squeeze page is basically a headline, a few bullets, and then a call to action – download my free gift to you.I don’t really need much more than that, because they already want what I have when they get to my squeeze page. They have read my article, liked it, clicked into my site, and generally download and oftentimes purchase.
