Some of people after a few years of marriage notice that tension between them and their spouses rises. To their surprise they find that stress is a common thing even in relationships between two people who love each other. Still, there are ways to get rid of such stress or at least reduce it. All you need is to change a few things in the relationship between you and your spouse and stress won't have a chance to destroy your marriage. The most important is to change the way you communicate with each other, how you treat your second half and start working on increasing your mutual trust. Although many of us talk a lot, more and more people have problems with communication with others. It is not only caused by the fact that sometimes we rather stay quiet that say the truth. In a marriage we feel so comfortably that sometimes we say things which can hurt our spouse. Usually we don't realize that we may destroy our relationship by doing so until it is too late. This is why we should always think twice before we say something which may be insulting to our spouse, even when we are only joking. Another source of stress in a marriage is our behavior. It is normal that after a few years together we love each other in different way than it was during our honeymoon. Still, we can put these feeling back and repair our relationships if we only want to do it. It may be anything - a dinner with candles or a long walk in the evening. By doing so we can break the routine in our marriage and thus lower the level of stress it can cause. Lack of trust between spouses is often the reason for a divorce. In fact, for many of us, especially those people who were raised in dysfunctional families, trusting someone is very hard, but still possible. Love can help us to learn how to trust, but sometimes our feelings and fear that we will lose our partner to another person is so strong that we search for adultery everywhere, even when there are no reasons for such behavior. Of course this causes tension between us and the level of stress increases. This is why we must learn how to trust our spouse as long as we don't want stress to destroy our marriage. Stress can strike in our marriage at any time. It may appear when there is too much routine in your relationships, when you or your spouse suspects adultery, when a child appears in your family or when you have problems at work. In fact marriage is one of the most stressful things we can meet as long as we can't listen to our spouses and cooperate with them. We can get rid of a stress in a marriage only when we do it together, in other case the tension between us will only rise and end in a divorce.
