Missing Peace of the Puzzle to the Middle Eastern Piece of the Region

Today as we look out at the Middle Eastern Landscape we see a checkerboard of allies or countries that are controlled by friendly democracies. Although we also see the other nation-states who harbor and or sponsor international terrorist organizations, which are willing to fund, support or direct these groups who murder innocent civilian life.

One might ask the obvious question; Is this all the better humankind can do in the Twenty-First Century? Surely we have come further than this have we not? Well yes and no. Yes human civilizations have come a long way sense the Machiavellian Rule of past periods but NO, not all civilizations have been able to get beyond that high hurdle of humanity.

So, does this mean we are doomed to repeat as has been forewarned by those who actually do study the human written record of days gone by? One interesting thing I would like to point out for those who have not given much thought here and instead reside to adopt the opinions offered by the electronic video monitors in their living rooms; is that Henry Kissinger’s Essays written back in 1964 are as valid today as they were then for understanding the cause and affect of rogue nation-states and political impasse.

Unfortunately, negotiation is relatively difficult when cultures and the principles, which accompany them are so vastly at odds. Is opening dialogue worthy of mention or does it make sense to allow the passing of time and removal of regimes under their own weight of localized political upheaval? Can we afford to wait as those in power in the rogue nation state create fear and hate against the Free World and label us as the woe of all their internal ills?

If action is not taken and nuclear weapons are produced and given to International Terrorists organizations and if those failing leaders re-rally their national doctrines with the help of radical fundamental religious exploits, how can the world be safe? I ask because I am deeply concerned for those who prophetize a great battle and march off to such self-fulfilling events. I hope this article will propel thought in 2007.
