Multiple Scoliosis

Multiple scoliosis is a chronic disease that affects the central nervous system. It is a progressive, degenerative disorder that damages the nerve fibers in the brain and spinal cord. The reason for this disease is the damage of myelin that protects the central nervous system. It is the most common non-traumatic, neurological disease affecting people of all ages around the world. Multiple scoliosis is neither contagious nor infectious, and is categorized according to the frequency and severity of neurological symptoms. There is no evidence that clear multiple scoliosis is a directly inherited disease. Some researchers think that it may be caused by a common virus. It takes place as a result of certain combinations of genetic and environmental factors. The disease can be diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40 using MRI of the brain and spine. There are no definitive drugs or treatment protocols to cure this disease. But a few effective drugs and exercises are available to slow down the progression and curb the appearance of new symptoms. Several types of therapies are also available for patients experiencing acute attacks.
