High blood pressure is natural at times when your organism is preparing for a fight or for running away. Normally the pressure goes down away as soon as the need for it disappears. However, if you let yourself live under stress for a longer time, high blood pressure will start to cause negative effects throughout your body - effects that can be dangerous to anyone, even teenagers! High blood pressure can lead to major health problems, so you have to cope with your stress without hesitation and waiting "for better times". Try to think about what stresses you and whether those things are really that important to risk your whole life by being worried about them. Then talk with your friend or family member about what stresses you most. It is always easier to find a workable solution by discussing the problem with someone close that coping with everything yourself. You can also ask your family doctor for a piece of advice. First, he knows a lot of tips and tricks (ones that really work) that may help you cope with stress. Then, he is able to give you prescription-only pills that will allow you to calm down and increase your chances for finding and coping with the source of your problems. Then, remember that even if you get rid of stress once, it may still return. If you want to get rid of stress for good, you have to change your attitude towards yourself and life. For one, you have be a little more relaxed and never let anything but the most crucial matters to stress you. Negative thinking and inventing problems instead of solutions will get you nowhere but to the hospital. Life isn't long enough to spend more than a day worrying about something. If you let yourself to be stressed and do nothing about it, your life is as good as gone. You have to relax a bit from time to time, and thing about the greater picture and your role in it. Then, all the details that make you down will no longer be as important as you think now. If only you could take them easy, your stress would vanish in a blink of an eye.
