Niche List Building for Greatest Profits

Niche list building is probably the easiest way to squeeze profits out of a particular crowd. Even regular, loose, list building can be quite profitable, but the bottom line is, the more tightly you target your list, and the tighter you niche it, the more money it can create for you.

Imagine that you are attempting to target people who are interested in deep sea fishing equipment. You would not hook them with an ad about deep sea diving expeditions – that would be a different niche list.

The deep sea fishing product attracts people who are not generally interested in the equipment and the equipment product will attract people who are. In fact, the person who owns equipment and is likely to buy more would probably NOT opt in to a list just to get information on deep sea fishing--he is already deep sea fishing and might download a product on how to more effectively hook a specific fish, but not a general product on deep sea fishing. So you have to be smart about how you position your squeeze pages and your advertising, building multiple lists to make the biggest profits.

Another thing that is important is that you must be sure to target people who have the means to spend money with you. For example, if you are marketing a new kind of diet, you would want to target people who are overweight and have the means to spend on your new diet instructions. If you give away a free book on eating healthier, you may attract people who are not overweight, but simply wish to eat healthier (which is fine if you also have a product for that demographic). But if you give away a product that specifically teaches overweight people how to change their meal selections so that the can lose weight, you will be specifically targeting people who need to lose weight and who are more likely to spend money on losing that weight. You cannot target freebie seekers because they are easier to opt in – they will never be able to pay you.

Take the time to think out your niche list strategy, and then target your niche leads effectively.
