Product Building - How to Build a Product From Scratch

It is often asked if it is possible to start an internet business and build a product without any money. The answer to that question is yes. It is however more difficult then if you have money, which means it’s difficult to begin with.

This is not a path I would recommend. However if you are one of those tenacious never let anything stand in your way types, go for it. Having good knowledge of a computer will also stand you in good stead.

In order to get started, you will need your own website and product. Even if you’ve never built a website, today’s advanced technology makes it fairly easy. There are some good site builders around that are free. The only catch is you have to run advertisements on the site. This can be tacky but doesn’t take you out of the hunt.

You will have to find your own product. You will be better off developing an informational site. Go to the search engines, look for popular products. Go to keyword selector tools see which keywords bring the greatest results. There are plenty of product categories to joggle the brain. Look at money making hobbies, and other similar categories.

Find yourself an autoresponder. You can get a free one but be prepared for it to contain a lot of advertising. It won’t have the same sophisticated features as ones that charge, so you will want to pay for one as soon as possible. The best ones cost under $20.00 a month. Do not try and use your websites auto responder. You will not be able to get your email whitelisted and much of your mail will not be delivered.

It will be necessary to learn all you can about sending traffic to your site. This is crucial if you expect to make money with your product. Find out as much as you can about sending traffic to your site. There is plenty of information on this subject. Look in the search engines.

You will have to do a great deal of writing, so practice this skill. You can get plenty of training writing articles and emails. If you are not a good writer , you can later pay for this training. There are many ebooks on line that offer excellent writing programs. Consider getting one of these when you can afford it.

Starting on a shoe string will not be easy, but stick to your goal and reinvest your money. As you start seeing progress, upgrade to more sophisticated programs. If you stay with it and pick your product wisely, you will succeed.
