Professional Careers Institute announced it will hold a graduation ceremony for 166 students this Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Pike Performing Arts Center, 6701 Zionsville Road in Indianapolis, Ind. Students will be recognized for earning associate’s degrees and diplomas in seven programs including allied health and legal assisting. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Long-Term Occupational Projections Report, 2006, medical assisting positions are expected to increase by 45 percent, dental assisting positions by 41 percent and massage therapy positions by 28 percent from 2004 to 2014. “Graduation should not be considered the end of your education but rather a stepping-stone into your future learning,” said Barri Shirk, President of Professional Careers Institute – Indianapolis. “Each day should be a learning experience because it is only through learning that we continue to grow as professionals.
