So, You Want To Work At Home

Working at home. Everyone dreams about it and thinks to themselves, "if I could just work at home, rather than going to that stupid job everyday, things would be great." Right? Yea, me too. So I did what any miracle minded idiot would do, I quit my good paying job in exchange for staying at home, raising my daughter, and trying to make a living without a job.

The thing I neglected to take into account, well not neglected, but purposely tried to erase from my mind, was the fact that I needed money to pay my bills. And I've begun to realize in the last few months that generating money without a job is fairly difficult. I suppose I've always been aware of this little tidbit of information, but I just never tested it. That's what I'm doing right now, testing it, because I believe that it's possible to make a living without a job! I also believe that it's possible to get traffic to your website without spending a ton of money (which is the main reason I write these articles), although the entire process is quite frustrating. Not the article process, the making a living without a job.

I've had a website that distributes fishing products (both our own and other companies) for about a year, and always figured that a living could be made from this website. Then we got the site looking the way we wanted and waited, and waited, and waited. And nothing! No one goes to the stinking site. Friends and family all tell my partner and I 'how great' it looks and we both say to ourselves, "who the hell cares, because no one sees it!" It's been a frustrating process, to say the least.

Continually plowing time and money into something only to see NO results is enough to make a person want to put there tail between their legs and say 'Screw it! I'll just have a job for the rest of my life.' But it doesn't have to be this way. There are answers if you're open to them and believe.

I'm an amateur on the Bible, to say the least, but what is it that's said in the Bible? "Through God, all things are possible." What is it exactly that 'all things are possible', leaves out? At the end of the day, you just have to believe.
