Solar Energy Initiatives and Future of Solar Energy

By: Lance Winslow

We need more solar power here on Earth and we have an excellent supply of sun and therefore it makes sense to take all we can get. Most smart energy researchers believe Solar makes a lot of sense and the Sun Worshiping Ancient Religions would have surely agreed with this premise.

Indeed, I agree with the solar researchers summation of energy production and believe we need combinations working together to pump energy into the grid, as this makes sense and is a smart use of our technologies too. Personally, like many people, I am very Pro-Solar, totally and have visited the ARCO Solar project near Barstow Dagget and others near by from other companies and some in Nevada. Also I have toured US Navy deal on the carports in San Diego too. If you ever get to Tempe, AZ well then I recommend you visit the solar research there as well;

The University of Florida also has some great projects and schools like Cal Tech, MIT, Virginia, Tech, Berkeley and others are all on the leading edge of solar technologies, with new innovations and on the cusp of major break thrus that will lower costs, increase performance and forever revolutionize our solar industry. The Desert of course is indeed a perfect place to build the DOE and Presidential Initiative project and create more Solar Farms, just keep the environmentalists Desert Turtle Lawsuits away from us? Please consider all this in 2006.
