Every corporation wants to make more profits and that means it needs to make more sales and become more efficient to reduce costs. On the sales side of things there are 5:1 more consultants than on the streamlining side of efficiency. Why is this?

Well it is simple, if you want to make more money, make more sales. True enough and yet consider it takes 3, 4, 5 dollars to make one dollar and if you can cut down that ration you can also increase profits much faster.

What is interesting is getting more sales is easy and so more people can do it. Yet system engineers, logistics consultants and procedure streamlining consultants must be much more intelligent to make things happen.

Not everyone is smart enough to do that. But someone who is generally is a commodity worth their weight in gold for the companies they consult with. One small change in procedures can save thousands per year.

One small change in logistics can save potentially millions. And if the company works on a 5:1 ratio well that is like scoring a 5 million dollar account. This is why I say that; Solo Professional Systems and Logistic Consultants are a breed apart and perhaps one of the most important consulting contracts that your corporation might ever consider. So, think on this in 2006.
