Our personal relationships are not immune to the effects of stress. As stress makes us more anxious, nervous and irritated, we start to react differently than before the stress gets to us. Our partners often realize that they have fell in love with someone very different from a person you seem to be now. This may cause serious problems in your relationship up to the point of breaking up! Sexual and reproductive functions are among the earliest victims of stress. Blood pressure problems, high level of stress hormones in a bloodstream and inability to get one's mind of the problems make it difficult to perform adequately - and to desire your loved one in the first place. People living under stress often seemingly lose interest in sex, making their loved ones worried and unsure about the true motives of such behaviors. Another important area affected by stress is money. This is a sensitive subject in every family or relationship, and also one that is most easily changed into a battlefield if both spouses don't keep their tempers down. Stress makes it much harder or even impossible to cool down, so the discussions about the budget change into heated quarrels - oftentimes even ten or twenty dollars is enough to a two-day row. No marriage is safe when one spouse (or, God forbid, both of them) is living under stress. If you intend to save the relationship, you have to manage your stress to the best of your ability. Learn all tips and tricks about coping with stress, try all methods of keeping it under control and apply those that work best for you. Prepare a plan that allows you to make everything right and save your relationship. But, above everything else, communicate about your problems with your spouse or loved one. Together you can cope with about any problem you encounter. Separately you are asking yourself for trouble.
