Success In Life - 3 Keys For Increasing Your Opportunities

Have you ever felt like you’re the one who is always missing the big breaks in life? You know that you have tremendous ability and potential but it always seems like all the great opportunities pass you by and go to someone else. Napoleon Bonaparte once said, ‘Ability is of little account without opportunity.’ So, you know you have the ability but the opportunity is what’s missing. Here are 3 keys to help you increase your opportunities so that you can reach your full potential for success.

1. Be willing to take a risk.
It’s amazing to read and hear of all the success stories that started because of someone stepping out of their comfort zone and taking a risk. If success can occur without risk, then everyone would be successful. Great opportunities come to those who take risks.

2. Network.
If you look at someone who you think is successful, the odds are that they network very well. Again, this may be out of your comfort zone but networking will give you the chance to meet people and, most importantly, it will give people the chance to meet you. How will people ever be able to present you with an opportunity if they don’t know that you exist?

3. Pay attention.
Opportunities are all around you, you just can’t see them. Begin to pay attention to everything that goes on around you and you will see extraordinary opportunities. Some of your greatest potential for success is right in front of you. Just because opportunity doesn’t always come in the form you thought it would doesn’t mean that it isn’t a great opportunity.

If you will apply these 3 keys you will begin to see opportunities open up in front of you. Now that you have the opportunities, use the abilities that you have to seize the fullness of each opportunity and begin to watch yourself succeed in more ways than you though possible.
