Anxiety attack symptoms are often confused with a problem of the heart as both of these are very similar. Anxiety attacks affect the entire nervous system of the body and the symptoms are easily understood and such attacks can be comprehended before hand. The fist symptom of the attack is the feeling of fear and threat. It is this feeling which in turn leads to a number of other reactions from the human body and mind. The threat may be an existing one or it may be a creation of the mind and completely irrational. Whatever the case may, the possibility of the existence of a threat is enough to trigger of an anxiety attack. There are many other symptoms which are discussed in details in the paragraphs to follow.

Elements of the symptom

Flush and chill are the two things that are sure symptoms of an anxiety attack. A person may suddenly feel the flush, where he feels a gush of blood traveling through his body or he may feel suddenly feel cold and numb. Both these situation results in perspiration, therefore he may either have a hot or cold flush or both one after the other. The tension level of the person may suddenly rise out of no reason and he may feel out of focus and may have lack of concentration. Dizziness is also a common symptom under which the whole world seems to be going round and round like a giant wheel. There will be an immediate urge to either lie down or sleep with the main focus on rest. It may also lead to unconsciousness. High blood pressure or low the case may be either or will accompany or precede an attack. Paraesthesias is uncommon but people do feel it. It is a feeling of millions of ants crawling on your body, definitely not a pleasing symptom. Tremors or the feeling of the whole body shaking and shivering can also be added to the symptoms list. There is difficulty in breathing and one may have shortness of breath. The symptom may lead to a situation where a person gets completely chocked and out of oxygen in the lungs. The heart best may increase rapidly causing discomfort and pain the chest. The person may have a feeling of death or may seem to understand that he is dying. There is complete loss of self control on both the mind and the body and the power of reasoning is lost. Speechlessness or a blocked jaw may also or the inability to communicate is also a symptom of the anxiety attack. One may feel that he is losing his mind and going crazy and do abnormal things. There may be a feeling of thousands of butterflies in your stomach and ultimately nausea and vomiting. Loss of appetite or a sudden urge to eat even when not hungry are also symptoms of the anxiety attack.

Conclusion

The points enlisted above are the most common symptoms of the anxiety attack a person suffering from such an attack may not be able to judge at the first instance, but a person who suffers from anxiety attack disorder can easily recognize the symptoms before hand and know that he is about to get an unwanted attack. As one comes s to realize of the symptom one should seek for help and release the attack safely. Consultation of the doctor is must, who will prescribe medicines and conduct therapies for cure.
